Van Dresen, Akki & Monteur feat. Christina Novelli – Beautiful
– I’m very excited to share this track with you all!
I started to compose and produce this track by myself a few years ago. As the time went by I got in the studio with my good friend Akki (known from C-Systems) and we finalized the version known as “Chillout Mix”. We both had an idea that this track should feature a vocal and therefor I sent the track to the lovely Christina Novelli (UK). She heard the instrumental and loved it! Shortly Christina began to write the lyrics and went into to the studio, recording the amazing vocals for it!
We then figured out that we needed a more “danceable”/uplifting version as the main track, and decided to turn it into more of a melodic deep house thing! This is were the very talented friend of mine Monteur (Kristian Moen Vik) comes in to the picture. All of us uses Cubase as our production software, so we swapped this new version a bit back and forth until we finally had a new original that we were all in love with.

I have followed the amazing work from Christian Beat Hirt (Switzerland) since 2008. He is the master-mind & producer behind Helvetic Nerds, Chris Reece, EDX, Dinka, Nora En Pure, Daniel Portman, Leventina and more. Christian also runs multiple respected labels such as Sirup Music, Enormous Tunes, Enormous Chills, Unreleased Digital and Pinkstar, to name a few.
I had a little chat with Christian about Beautiful and decided to send the demo to his label Enormous Tunes, which I think releases awesome music that fits well with my new track and what I listen to myself. Luckily the A&R team thought the same and signed the track for their Enormous Chills imprint!
